TurboTax Delux 2018 is not recognizing a return I filed.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

I use the desktop version. The message says the document has the wrong tax year or some other issue that prevents us from opening it.

Are you trying to open the file ending in .tax2018?  Did you have to reinstall the program?

I moved it out of iCloud storage and it opened. iCloud added an extension that confused the software.
