That is a known issue that seems to have been created by Apple with a change in OSX 10.13.4. There was no problem with OSX 10.13.3.
Since this is not a defect in the TurboTax software, but is due to a change that Apple made which causes an internal Apple java script function to crash while reading an embedded java script component in the TurboTax application, TurboTax will not be issuing any update to the TurboTax software. However, TurboTax has issued a workaround to remove the java script form the TurboTax application so that the Apple software will not crash.

TurboTax for Mac cannot save tax files
Minimum system requirements for TurboTax Mac software
This link does not answer the question - Mac OS changed to disallow Java, so opening any previous year's TurboTax requires running a Terminal script. That link in older discussions is dead. We need that link here. Where is that script????

I really need this workaround. Is there anyone who can share this with me since it appears TurboTax has removed it from their support site?

What is the TurboTax phone number? - Community
Please don't reply to contact TurboTax. They will not help you. I have tried multiple times. Their answer is the link is no longer valid and its an apple issue so change your OS to an easier version and you will be fine.
Not true. I tried repeatedly but you have to have an account and to get an account you have to verify several steps that I am not able to do, such as a former address you filed your taxes with (mine has since changed), a phone number that matches with your previous profile (I no longer have that phone number) and other details. It is impossible to order a transcript copy only but must jump through a mass of telephone hoops to do so.
