As for your actual W-2's, save those documents for your own records. Do not destroy or discard them. You could need them someday for a loan application or a variety of other purposes.

and while you're at it save a copy of the returns as a pdf. on your computer and even a thumb drive. you never know when you may need them and after 3 tax years TT no longer supports the software
