You do not get "individual W-2 amounts" as a refund.  Your total income is calculated and your refund is based upon the amount of income you received and your tax liability.

As for your actual W-2's, save those documents for your own records. Do not destroy or discard them.  You could need them someday for a loan application or a variety of other purposes.
