Many many things are still broken ... they will be fixed in an upcoming update.

I removed your attachment for your privacy and protection since it contained you names.  You should never publish your real names on a public forum because there are many scammers lurking.

On the Tax History page, TurboTax generally calculates Effective tax rate % by dividing Tax by Adjusted Gross Income, shown on the lines above on the page.

Are you sure that it's not showing 33.29%, which could be a reasonable number (although it would probably take somewhere around $1M of ordinary taxable income to get close to that, so check your entries for a missing decimal point)?  It's unlikely that TurboTax would display any effective tax rate value without two places following a decimal point, no matter what value is calculated.

@dmertz - I attached a screenshot of the posters original .docx document to the OP's question with the personal information redacted so you can see what the user saw.

OK, my comment applies to the Tax History page in forms mode.  This complaint seems to be in regard to a problem with a step-by-step mode page.

OK  I found mine.  How come the tax line is almost the same as the income line for every year?  The TAX doesn't make sense.

OK, that page is totally messed up.  It's displaying effective tax rate on the Tax Bracket line and who knows what on the Effective Tax Rate line.

I pulled out my 2017 return.  The top line Tax is really Taxable Income and the lines seem to be off one.

It appears to be a page formatting error.  Add a line for Taxable Income to the top and shift all if the number up one line.  [VolvoGirl beat me to it.  🙂 ]

Go ahead, VG.   They probably won't do anything about it until Wednesday, but they can add it to the list of things that need fixing.      Thanks for reporting it @jimkas0 .

I posted the original not to solicit community help but to report a bug to turbotax staff so it can be resolved in a future release. The graphic is displayed by selecting Tax History from the Tools menu. The data is displayed by placing the cursor over any of the bars. Thanks for trying to help.
