Did you elect to pay your TurboTax Fee's out of your Federal Return? Once you transmit your return & the IRS receives it, the IRS is the one that handles your refund. If you had your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund then the IRS sends your refund to the bank that handles the transaction Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (not TurboTax) . The bank deducts your fees from your refund then deposits the remaining
amount in your bank, there could be a day delay for the process. If your bank
rejected the deposit from SBTPG bank then SBTPG will hold the refund until they verify your identity and mailing address. They are supposed to notify you by e-mail but you may need to contact
them, in case the email was lost, put in a spam filter, or never sent.
You may contact SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their
secure website www.sbtpg.com if you need more information. If you want to double check your Direct Deposit information please follow these steps: Your direct deposit information will be at the bottom of your Form 1040. To view your 1040 after filing, Sign into TurboTax > Taxes > Tax Timeline > Some other things you can do > Download/print (.pdf). Form 1040 the information regarding your refund is on lines 75-77 and direct deposit is on line 76. a-d).

Your notice or letter will
explain the reason for the contact and give you instructions on how to
handle the issue. The IRS might be informing the taxpayer of a

paperwork ready when you call. You can also call 1-800-829-1040

You cannot file multiple returns in one online account. Never start another return by going back and overwriting everything in the return you just filed. This will replace your info, which means you won't be able to retrieve your return later. If you wish to use the Online product to file additional returns, you'll need to create additional accounts Tip: If you're preparing multiple returns for family
members, it's more economical to switch to the TurboTax CD/Download
software, which lets you e-file up to 5 federal returns at no additional
cost. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3302087

After e-filing, simply re-open your return or sign back in to TurboTax. Your e-file status should be the first thing you see.
You can double-check that it was successfully efiled and accepted here:
https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/efile/efile_status_lookup.jsp
The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-file has been accepted (received), not 21 days from the e-filing date. For mailed returns, allow 5-6 weeks from the postmark date.
Wait 24 hours after your federal return has been accepted before looking it up at Where's My Refund? See also Where's My Refund FAQs.
To check the status of the state refund, click on your state at the following FAQ:
