TurboTax & Emigrate

GM/GA,

I left Canada at the end of last year, but TurboTax generated an Income Tax and Benefit Return for Non-Residents and Deemed Residents instead of an emigrant return.

The Income Tax and Benefit Return for Non-Residents and Deemed Residents does not include a departure date, which makes me think TurboTax may have classified my residency status incorrectly.

Is there a way to correct this and generate an emigrated (departure) T1 return? Has anyone encountered this issue before, and how can it be resolved?

TurboTax does have a field where I can enter my departure date from Canada. However, when the return is generated, the departure date does not appear anywhere on the final form.
