I have a question regarding the taxability of commissions/fees subtracted from revenue earned by YouTube. Are these commission paid to YouTube deductible for tax purposes.

Yes they can be a business expenses on Schedule C. You either report the gross total income and then expense the fees or just report the net income you received from YouTube.
