How can I be sure an IRS payment set up today via TurboTax (when I filed an extension) is in the works?

I received emails from TurboTax saying the extension was filed, then approved, but they say nothing about my electronic payment. I also can't find any reference to the payment on the TurboTax website.

TurboTax will have no information on when the IRS deducts your payment, the program only sends your banking information to the IRS.  To verify the date that Federal funds will be withdrawn from your account, confirm that funds have been transferred, or cancel the transaction up to 48 hours before the date you designated the funds to be debited, call the IRS at 1 (888) 353-4537.

Thanks so much, but I actually wasn't asking when the IRS will process my payment. I just want to confirm that TurboTax is actually sending -- or has sent -- my e-payment instructions to the IRS. I entered the payment amount and my bank info as part of filing the extension, but the emails from TurboTax confirming the extension was filed say nothing about the payment. TurboTax's e-file status tool also says nothing about the payment. If my payment instructions disappeared, I'll need to send a check -- or pay on the IRS's website. So I need help!

If your extension is accepted, then the banking information was sent to the IRS.  With an extension you will only get whether it is accepted or rejected.  You don't get a confirmation they sent the payment information.

Well I actually just want to confirm that I properly entered the payment information. In previous years I was able to print (or save to PDF) the Form 4868 that TurboTax transmitted electronically for me. I can't find a way to do that this time. If that Form 4868 shows my payment amount (on Line 7 I believe) that would make me feel better. Any thoughts on how to download or print my completed and transmitted Form 4868?
