How to remove injured spouse form

You will need to file the injured spouse form if you are filing jointly and the joint refund was (or is expected to be) applied (offset) to a past-due obligation of the other spouse. By filing Form 8379, the injured spouse, you may be able to get back your share of the joint refund.

If this does not apply to you, you will need to remove the form 8379 from the program.

To do so in the TurboTax online version, go to:

1.  Sign into your account, select Take me to my return

2.  Select My Account (top of screen)click on the drop down arrow

3.  Select Tools

4.  Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form

5.  Select Delete next to the Form 8379 and Continue
