Claiming a dead parent as a dependent

My father passed away last year. My mother will file as married jointly. Can I claim my father as a dependent as I was paying for at least 51% of support and he only received Social Security?

No. If your mother is filing married filing jointly with your father, you cannot claim him as a dependent.

1099R when I get to the questions about our 1099Rsand our RMD's. I says "we noitice you have taken out money from your retirement plan early" we never took out any money early- just the required RMDs
