I said upgrade but I should have said Up date. Federal tax forms failed to download.

New York failed to download.

you can try to uninstall program, reboot,  and reinstall.  then  try to update.  

did you purchase from an authorized seller?  if not, the problem could be the disk in which case update may never succeed.
