I was married April of 2018 and my husband owes back child support do I need to file an injured spouse form?

Yes, if you are filing jointly, you would have to file the injured spouse form in order to get your portion of the refund.  Otherwise, the entire refund will be offset to satisfy his child support obligation. If you are filing married filing separately, you do not have to file the form.
