@LinaJ2018 Hi LinaJ2018 - Can a F-1 student, who has been in the US for less than 5 years file 1040 if he/ she passes the substantial presence test? I have been in the US since August 2014 and filed my taxes for the year 2016 and 2017 electronically using 1040 on turbotax. Do I need to file an amendment?
