Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I had Catastrophic coverage from Marketplace for 4 months this year while self-employed. Is this deductible from my 1099? Since it was catastrophic it's not on my 1095-A.

The internet at large seems to say it is deductible, if you had no other options, but the Health Insurance Premiums expense section of Turbotax says not to enter anything that was purchased from the marketplace. So I'm unsure.

Yes, catastrophic health insurance is deductible from your self employment.  It must be entered under Less Common Business Situations- Self-Employed Health Insurance under the BUSINESS tab.
