Review imported data from brokerage

Yes, after you import your information from your brokerage, you should review the entries to be sure no additional questions remain to be answered.

To jump to that spot in your return

  1. Select "Search" located near the top right of your screen
  2. Type in "1099-b"
  3. Pick "Jump to 1099-b" from the results
  4. TurboTax will take you to the investments section of your return where you can review the entries for Schedule D and related forms.

To review any Form 1099-B, click "edit" beside the entry on the investment sales summary page. Follow the prompts to review or edit the information.

You may also use this process to review entries for interest income (1099-INT) and dividends (1099-DIV).
