Wrong state tax software auto downloaded

Hi there,

I need California state tax return. But Utah state was automatically downloaded in my laptop. How can I delete Utah and reload California?

You can delete the Utah state tax return and download California using the steps listed below.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop:

1. Open your tax return.
2. Click File in the top left of your TurboTax screen (in the black bar that goes across the top).
3. Click on Remove State Return.
4. Select Utah and click Remove.
5. Confirm by clicking Yes.
6. Then go to your  State tab and select California to add it. 

If you are using TurboTax Online:

1. Sign in and open your return.
2. Select State Taxes from the left side of your TurboTax screen
3. Where it says Status of your state returns, click the garbage can icon next to Utah to remove it.
4. Select Add State and select California.
