Get your taxes done using TurboTax
You can delete the Utah state tax return and download California using the steps listed below.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop:
- Open your tax return.
- Click File in the top left of your TurboTax screen (in the black bar that goes across the top).
- Click on Remove State Return.
- Select Utah and click Remove.
- Confirm by clicking Yes.
- Then go to your State tab and select California to add it.
If you are using TurboTax Online:
- Sign in and open your return.
- Select State Taxes from the left side of your TurboTax screen
- Where it says Status of your state returns, click the garbage can icon next to Utah to remove it.
- Select Add State and select California.
