When you are legally married and living together you can only file your tax return as either Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing Separately.  You would want to file jointly even if one spouse has little or no income as it is the best way to file when married.

If you are married, you can't file as Head of Household.

In almost all situations, it's more beneficial to file Married Filing Jointly than Married Filing Separately.
