Would being a YouTube content creator make me self employed or an employee of YouTube/Google?

I'm about to begin creating content to post on YouTube to hopefully be monitized and I am not sure if this makes me self employed because I'm doing this on my own under my own guidelines and such (aka I'm my own boss) or would I be an employee of Google/ YouTube because that's the company that pays me

If Google pays you it will be self-employment income to you. If you don't have a business name, you can leave it blank or use your own full name.
