work remote and don't want to get flagged by a state to pay taxes i don't want to pay

i have a w2 that is blank in box 15 which is the state in which Kansas city resides and i work remote however i pay just one locality tax that has to be paid to KCMO.  If i put MO in box 15 will it flag Missouri to ding me for taxes

Your resident state taxes all of your income, no matter where it was earned.   If you had a local tax withheld in Box 19 on your W-2, you will need to enter an amount in Box 18 and the name of the locality in Box 20.
