Word and TurboTax 2024

I just installed TurboTax 2024 Deluxe and now Word will not open. I have closed and restarted; same message. The follwing appears,

Click-to-run Application Manager Microsoft 2010 cannot be opened. Try again or repair the product in Control Panel.

During installation, I recall and update on something with c++ in the name. It took a longtime to update.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!
