Won't get w-2 from closed company

My previously employer closed down the beginning of Feb. this year.  As I have never received a final paycheck, I'm pretty positive I won't receive a W-2.  Is there anyway to get the information I would need to complete my taxes for this year?

W-2s are usually due from your employer January 31st. If by chance you don't receive your W2, you can file a substitute W2 with your return after February 15th.

For any prior year, you can get a free transcript of W-2 info from IRS, or pay IRS for an actual copy of  W-2s and return http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc159.html

You can also pay for a copy of the W-2 from the Social Security Administration.
