given the recurring problems with Windows 11 why doesn't TurboTax respond by coming out with a Windows 10 version?

Intuit does not support Windows 10 for TurboTax desktop versions because it is a deprecated operating system.
H&R Block still supports Windows 10 for their desktop versions.
does H&R store your data on cloud, where, as someone else posted, it stays forever to be harvested?
and it is nonetheless disappointing that Turbo rushed to exclusively go to a not-ready-for-primetime W11 with no fallback to W10 other than risky online version. deja-vu of years of stubborn misjudgments by Turbo

No idea but consider the following:
I set up two test returns, one in TurboTax and the other in H&R Block (both desktop versions). I added a Schedule C business, rental property, stock/bond sales, W-2 info, etc. (i.e., a LOT of data in two MFJ returns).
The TurboTax data file on my PC is well over 2.5 MB while the H&R Block file is under 75 KB. Does anyone reading this want to explain why that's the case? If the H&R Block tax data file isn't stored in the cloud somewhere, why is it so tiny in comparison to the TurboTax data file?
