Will TurboTax be updated to allow for paying federal taxes later than 4/15 - by 7/15?

I'd like to take advantage of the new law that allows for payments for Fed taxes to be made by 7/15 as long as you file by 4/15.  Turbotax does not support this now, and I'm sure the IRS is not crazy about your 'send in a check instead' workaround.  Are you planning to update the program to allow for direct payment from a checking account after 4/15?

On March 18, 2020, the IRS announced income tax payment deadlines for individual returns with a due date of April 15, 2020 are being automatically extended until July 15, 2020.

the   'send in a check instead' workaround is the only way to take advantage of this "offer" at this time.

Make check payable to "US Treasury" . write in your SSN, phone number and "for 2019 1040" on your check.

Should be a simple update to TurboTax software to allow later payment date...Intuit needs to get is done.  Current software prevents sending in after 15 April 2020...need to update software for payments up to 15 July 2020
