My income technically qualifies me for the upcoming $1400 third stimulus checks (when it passes). However I sold a house last year and I have to report it this year. But no capital gains are owed because I qualify for the full primary residence exclusion. I'm just wondering would this affect the amount of stimulus I would get or is it irrelevant. Thanks a lot!

Since there is no increase in income there would be no effect on your requirement to get the stimulus.
No, if you were able to exclude the gain because of the exclusion then the sale of the home does not affect your Adjusted Gross Income (AGI). Therefore, as long as you meet all the requirements then you will get the 3rd stimulus check should it get passed.
