Why my return is getting rejected even though all information is correct. Error is Spouse birthdate

If the birthdate is correct then the IRS has received incorrect information from the Social Security Administration.

You will have to print and mail your tax return.

To prevent this rejection next year, call the Social Security Administration (SSA) at 1-800-772-1213 to verify their records (this is where the IRS database pulls from). If the info is wrong, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for correction.

Check your last year return and make sure you are putting the same name first on the return.  If your spouce's name was first last year, make sure it's first everytime you file together.
