Did you adjust the first- and second-round payment amounts? If there is $200 in line 30, then your 2020 income was slightly lower than in 2019 and you received an additional amount.
The stimulus payments were advanced payments for 2020. Since the IRS did not have 2020 information when it sent out payments, the Service used 2018 and 2019 tax information with the understanding that any missing payments would be added to your 2020 tax return.
When you said you answered that you received the stimulus I’m not sure whether you meant you agreed with the numbers TurboTax showed you—or whether you adjusted the amounts.
I didn’t adjust an amount. It asked me to input what I had received and it told me the numbers looked correct and moved me on to the next section.
Perhaps you made a change AFTER you entered the stimulus information, such as a credit or deduction that changed your income.
Please revisit the stimulus section and review the numbers.
