Why is the calculation for the second stimulus incorrect?

The calculation is based on your 2020 income. If there is something different in 2020, than there was in 2019, it may be calculated differently than you expect.

Yes, it is based of 2020 and based off that we'd get $1800 for the second round but the program only counts 2 people. 

I ran a few different scenarios and everytime it excludes our dependant.

It seems to be working when I test a scenario with one child and income below the thresholds. However, I would double check the income level to see if you are being impacted by that.  Visit our help center and the IRS Info Center for more information.
