Why does turbo tax say"Heads up! You have a W-2c coming"?

it says i've deferred some of my social security taxes...but I haven't

there are a few other asking the same question within the past few hours. so, i'm guessing it a glitch with TT.

i thought it might be because i round everything in input. i added the cents to my SS withholdings and the message was still there.

You can probably ignore it..

......just go back into your W-2 and make sure box 4 is 6.2% of box 3 in the software form

......just had someone who had to round their box 4  $$$.36  to greater than $$$.50 to clear it out....something stupid like that. so if it's close....ignore it, you can file anyhow as the notice doesn't stop anything.......probably a mistaken notice. The notice doesn't get filed.
