Why does Turbo Tax default to Estimated state sales tax deduction of $825 when State and Local income tax deduction is $3,727??

If you have already entered all your State and Local Taxes Paid, step through the Sales Tax section again.

You should get a screen asking if you want to use Sales Tax or State and Local Taxes as a deduction. You may have accidently clicked on Sales Tax.
