Why does my state return say 0$

We cannot see your state return so we do not know why you are not getting a state refund.  The most common reason would be that you did not have tax--or enough tax--withheld from your wages to get back a refund from the state.  What was in your W-2's in box 17?   

Are all of your state forms ready--maybe you are waiting for some forms.
