Why does it keep saying that it’s hit a snag when I go to file?

Now Turbo Tax doesn't let me E-file keeps looping between  analyzing, Audit defense payment,  I click no thanks, then go back to federal and state I click continue, lets make sure is correct click continue and yes keep looping till I click to pay the $45 for the audit defense, something that I don't need, Turbo Tax don't let me file unless I pay the $45 for the audit defense

Hello.

I had the same problem.

This worked for me, I really hope it works for you as I was stuck for many hours.

1. disable any pop-up blockers.

2. Clear your 'cache' and your 'cookies'.

3. Log out of turbo tax, then Log back IN using a different browser.  I was using Mozilla /

Firefox and was stuck for many hours.  Turbo tax is the only thing that ever didn't work with it.

So I signed back into turbo tax with Internet explorer and then it all worked.

Best of luck to you.

This "hit a snag" error is occurring in my OS X version of TurboTax Premier.... clearing cookies doesn't help much when I'm not even in a browser.  Where do I look to fix this?
