Why do my capital gains show as different amounts on the Investment screen and the Picture of 2018 Income screen? (I used the import feature from my investment company.)

On the Investment screen, under Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds it shows $8,178. This matches the total for long-term and short-term capital gains on the paper report from my investment company.

On the Picture of 2018 Income screen under Capital Gains and Losses, it shows $16,632. I can't determine where this amount came from.

The actual capital gains you report in your income tax return can be more than any capital gains you enter from your own trading.  Common other sources are 1099-DIVs (mutual fund distributions) and Schedule K-1s.  Go look at your Schedule D where capital gains and losses from all sources are gathered together to see the full $16,632.
