Why do l need to provide the information from a 1098-T that I never received? How am I supposed to do that?

Because somehow the form is created and the program needs your info in order to continue.  Here is the fix:  If the Form 1098-T does not apply to you, you can simply remove the form.  Here are the steps (online):

• Sign into your account, select Take me to my return
• To your left, select Tax Tools, click on the drop-down arrow
• Select Tools
• Under Other helpful links, choose Delete a form
• Scroll down the list to locate the Form 1098-T and related worksheets select Delete and Continue with My Return
