Why didn't my federal return transfer to my Iowa return?

I have completed my federal return and everthing checked out. why didn't it transfer to Iowa State return?

Can you explain a little bit more what you're seeing? Do you mean the income and deductions you entered on your federal return didn't transfer over to your state return?

Once I closed turbo tax and reopened it the next day it seems to have transferred every thing , I'm still working on the Iowa return.
