Why did TurboTax stop supporting CSV imports?

I have ~2,700 crypto transactions I need to import. Since 2016, I have been able to import them via CSV without issue.

This year the UI forces us to provide images or PDFs when importing.

So, I convert my document to a PDF. Fails after about 2 minutes. (Or sometimes it imports some of the transactions and says I owe an outrageous amount - like $51M lol). I tried breaking up the document into 10 smaller documents (tried both PDFs and PNGs) so the importer could handle it, but it starts bogging down by the 4th or 5th import before failing altogether again.

Does the PM TurboTax team not see this as a pretty major bug? Why was the CSV import option removed in the first place? It's been easy and flawless for a decade.
