Why did i receive less than my expected refund amount?

And I also filed for 2014, do I still receive the amount I was supposed to get for that year as well?

When the IRS sends less than expected then they also send a letter of explanation in the next 2 weeks.  It is possible that they kept some since you didn't file the 2014 return timely and it will get released when they finally process that return but you will need to wait and see.
