I am filing 1040 for two people each with Schedule K-1. One person has car expense and that's fine, the other doesn't but has a car attached from last year. However, there is an error on line 6a. 5c has total miles driven. 6a has 0, 6b has 0 and 8 ha the same as 5c.
So why is Turbo Tax flagging an error? And how do I get rid of it - seems like by now this would not be a problem so I can file my taxes.

Yes, if you wish to retain the vehicle on this investment for next year, you need to enter at least one mile in the number of miles driven for business. Otherwise, TurboTax assumes you stopped using the vehicle, which flags the vehicle worksheet. Enter "1" on Line 6a or 6b to resolve this error.
This is ridiculous. I don't want to enter 1 if I didn't use the car. Turbotax saves a lot of other information from prior years and it can't save this so I don't need to re-enter it again if I use the car next year?
Your other option is to report that you converted the vehicle to personal use. In this case, enter zero for all three mileage boxes (total, 1/1-6/30 & 7/1-12/31). Then check the box for "I stopped using this vehicle..." and the date you stopped using it. Answer all questions about this vehicle and continue to the vehicle summary page to save your work. Unfortunately, this option removes the vehicle from your business, so you'll need to enter it again if you use it for business in the future.
