Why can't I open two sessions of turbo tax, 2023 and 2022 at the same time to check something. I could do this last year with 2022 and 2021.

Why can't I open two sessions of turbo tax, 2023 and 2022 at the same time to check something. I could do this last year with 2022 and 2021.

If you double -click on a 2022 data file while 2023 is installed, it will open in 2023, assuming you want to start a new 2023 return by transferring your old info.  Try launching the two programs directly from their application icons instead. 

If that doesn't work, then either there is a new OS limitation, or you would have to call support.  Are you using the Mac or PC version?

If Windows Desktop...start 2022 first, then 2023.
