Do they process refunds on Saturdays and sundays

when we are told the IRS processes refunds  in 7-10 days does that include weekends, Saturday and Sunday?

Because you probably have the eic or child tax credit and you won’t see it update till the 23rd

tax File acceptances normally are 7 days a week...except that for Memorial Day weekend, their computers are down for maintenance all weekend and probably Monday too...so anyone who efiles this weekend, no response will come from the IRS until (probably) Tuesday 28 May and the days after that.

Any files that are transmitted this weekend, will sit on a server and wait for the IRS to access them.....you CAN NOT retrieve or change anything you've e-filed until the IRS computers respond ....so don't e-file unless you are really done...
