I'm going to need a detailed and thorough explanation to begin understanding as to why supposed "artificial intelligence" is being crammed into the 2023 filing? Even in the best case scenario, current AI algorithms are call and repeat software and have an infinite amount of bugs. These bugs are in every industry.
We don't need "personalized AI", we just need an FAQ. We don't need a chat bot, we need actual help.
If it's for the case of "keeping up with current technology", there is NOTHING NEW about this technology! It's just a call and repeat ad-lib program disguised under 'new'. The fact you can have AI look over your forms for free (oh boy, better hope THAT DOESN'T CAUSE A MISTAKE ON YOUR *FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FORM*) but have to *pay* for anyone who knows the constantly changing tax code to review your documents is an open scam. Are you ok going to jail over a mistake a buggy system makes?
Down with AI. We don't need it crammed into every orifice of our lives, and especially not with something that can impact our lives legally and potentially forever. How much is AI actually involved? Only ~37% of people won't have to pay for an expert? You're too comfortable in this industry, and that needs to change.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
Well said, thank you.
