For 2020, I will have a combination of W-2 wages (largest %), Social Security (maybe next largest %), and 1099 Independent Consultant wages (Uncertain as to size, but expected small %). Usually I get Premier, but am retiring this year, and starting some consulting work. Which version should I be using for 2020?
Unclear to me what the "Self Employed" version provides. Is this the same as the "Home & Business" version? I see one answer stating
"TurboTax Home and Business edition supports additional expenses beyond those listed, and is designed for small businesses including sole proprietors, consultants, and the self-employed using a Schedule C with both income and expenses."

Sorry your question got missed. Yes the Online Self Employed version is the same as the Desktop Home & Business program.
You can enter 1099Misc Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe or Premier but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to the Self Employed version. Or use any Desktop CD/Download program. But the Home & Business program will have the most help.
