The last several years I have had a CPA prepare my return. I always used Turbo Tax prior to that but had some health issues and was not able to. How can I get my prior year information in there. I am self employed and my husband has a K-1 from his partnership. I want to make sure that I don't miss any prior year information or carryovers. Is there an easy way to do that since I can't import?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
if any of the prior year info is required, TT will ask you for it.
if you know what those carryover figures are you can also enter it directly using 'forms view'
If you are using the Desktop version then you could try a PDF upload, but not all PDFs are compatible. Please see: Can I transfer last year's PDF into the 2018 TurboTax for Windows CD/Download software?
If you are using TurboTax Online please review the instructions here instead: How do I transfer last year's return into TurboTax Online?
