Where is the form 8915-f for 2023 filing of 2022 taxes?

This is complete nonsense!  I used H&R Block software for the last 20 years and only switched to TT last year because H&R was not supporting this form.  Guess I will be switching back!!

I switched and filed 8915-f in less than 1 hour.  Got a slightly larger refund too.

This is too ridiculous!! I told myself not to use Turbotax this year because of the issue we had with the same form last year, but I didn't listen to myself. Now the date has changed once again from 2/2, 2/16, 2/23 to 3/2/23. I must be dreaming, this really cannot be happening. No-one over there seems to know what is happening. They keep trying to blame the IRS. It is not the IRS, it is your incompetent programmers!!!!!  There must be more of us complaining, but they have found a way to make it more difficult for us to find one another. Turbotax, you need to get your act together, for real.

I, too, am leaving Turbo Tax after paying for the most expensive version of tax software for 2023. 

Going to go pay another $130.00 and hope they can handle form 8915. This form has a release date from the irs for early Feb. and now TT says no filing til 3/2

Sadly I filed with H&R (including 8915) in under an hour.  Not as intuitive as TurboTax but I'm not playing this waiting game.  I've been in IT Engineering for 20+ years....the excuse as referenced previous in this forum of having remove a watermark is bogus.

My current UPDATED Turbo Tax Deluxe states that form 8915-F will not be available until 3/2/2023 and I will not be able to e-file until then. This stinks considering the fact that IRS has released the manual form.  Why does it take Turbo Tax so long to update?

When filing with H&R to get the 8915 form/questions did it tell you have to pay $60

more and speak with tax expert for the form? Wouldn’t let me any me manually answers the questions like turbo. Wondering I’m doing something wrong…

So, got tired of waiting. H&R told me I had to pay an extra $60 for a total of ~$110 as soon as I got to covering last 3rd of 2020 payout (i.e. 8915-f). TaxAct also didn’t have form. Used FreeTaxUSA, finished taxes incl 8915-f, efiled, and it has been accepted by the IRS. My taxes are not very complicated, a few extra forms and schedules. Another option is Free File Fillable Forms from the IRS. No guidance, but if you know the forms you need you fill them out, it does simple math and transfers amounts to other forms e.g. 1040. Used it last year instead of waiting

I also used FreeTaxUsa after the form got pushed again by TT. It was easy enough, the form was available, and saved quite a bit of $$!  Good bye TT!

When will this form be ready to use on Tubro Tax? I am now seeing March 3rd 2023.

So TurboTax said the 8915 F would be ready on 2/16. Then it said 2/23. Now I find out it will be 3/2. What is going on? This has been so frustrating for the past few years. Thanks.

Then they changed it to Feb 23. I just checked again and now they are saying March 2. Is that your understanding?

The latest information that we have for Form 8915-F, is that it will be available on March 2, 2023.
