Where do I skip filing the state return?

"Here are your filing option" doesn't give me the option to select "Change" and file later. I get all the way to transmit with no option to not send the state return. Going to "file" step 3 does not provide the ability to update the choice.

You do not have to file them together. You may need to delete the state if you don't have the option to change which tax return to file because you did not pay for the state fee.
