There is an error in TurboTax home and business estimated 2023 taxes, I need to make an estimated tax payment (withheld so far 84% of 2023 TurboTax estimated tax, difference greater than $1,000) but TurboTax says I don’t owe anything.
I can figure it out myself; at this point just want to report the bug.

They're probably going to ask for more details and/or request that you send your .tax file to an agent.
But how do I get the ball rolling?
I have found two errors:
1) Interview method for California Estimated Tax doesn't return estimated tax quarterly payments (it's on the Estimated Tax Worksheet form 540 ES)
2) The income it pulls for line 17 a) isn't asked for in the interview process and b) it pulls last years income even though you enter this years income on the worksheet. And it tells you in the instructions to pull from the wrong place (Line A of the Smart Worksheet for Estimated Tax Worksheet) .
Thanks in advance.
@Beachfan11 if it helps any, I use this website to estimate where I am with tax payments and whether I need to adjust quarterly payments. it is quite accurate.
if you are expecting TT to correct this prior to Sept 15, it may not occur.
Look into bundling your TurboTax Home and Business with QuickBooks Self Employed. The bundle does an excellent job of computing your quarterly taxes, along with many helpful bookkeeping and reporting features. It can be set to look at your amounts periodically and make sure you are keeping up. Once QuickBooks is set up and running, doing taxes is much easier.
