@2017_taxes$ asked: "Where do I find the 1040 SR page at"
The Form1040-SR is the new main page of the 2019 tax return for filers age 65 and older. It has the same info as the Form 1040 but has larger font and a standard deduction chart. It is created in the background as you enter your info into TurboTax.
So what do you mean by "finding" the "1040-SR page?"
What is the reason for your question? Are you still in the preparation stage, or have you already finished and filed?
Did you already efile your return and want a copy for your records? Or do you want to review your Form 1040 prior to filing? Or do you plan to file by printing and mailing?
The my 2019 1040 form was saved in Turbotax but the form I submitted was a 1040 SR. Why was that version not saved?
It is the same version, just a different title. There are no differences on the forms other than the font used and since TurboTax uses the same font for all returns, all of the federal returns are saved as 1040s in TurboTax. When you transfer in your 2019 tax file, TurboTax will generate a 1040SR for 2020 as well, but the default name it saves as will show Form1040.
Form 1040-SR is available as an optional alternative to using Form 1040 for taxpayers who are age 65 or older. Form 1040-SR uses the same schedules and instructions as Form 1040 does. @Jplunket
