Not sure what you are asking about. There is nothing called a 1040R. Do you mean a Form 1040SR? Or a 1099R for retirement income?
If you are 65 or older, your tax return will print out on a Form 1040SR, which is identical to Form1040, but which has larger print. The lines are identical and the calculations are identical.
If you are asking how to enter a 1099R:
To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
I believe you are referring to Form 1040-SR that is for individuals age 65 and over who have a simple tax return. If you use TurboTax to prepare your tax return, that form will be automatically prepared based on your entries in the program.
