The extension deadline is approaching, and if you're still working through your return, you're not alone. Join us for a live session where you can get your extension-filing questions answered in real time. Not sure what to ask? Here are some of the questions we hear most often this time of year:

• Help! I owe taxes but can’t pay them.
• I’m still missing a tax document, how do I finish?
• I got an extension, why do I have penalties?
• What if I miss something in my rush to finish?
• Is there anything I can do now to reduce my tax liability?

How the day will work:

• Our team of Experts will be in the TurboTax Community from 9:00am to 5:00pm Pacific Time on Wednesday, September 16th ready to tackle your tough questions and engage in conversation with you. Just click the white with blue border “Create a Post” button at the top of our special event forum to start a conversation!
• You can easily recognize our Experts out in the forums. If they have the Expert icon by their names, they are TurboTax employees. If they have the Champ icon by their names, they are not employed by TurboTax, but they are very knowledgeable.
• When you receive an answer, you’ll get a notification (check the bell icon in the upper right corner). You’ll also receive an email notification. Our goal is to answer every question that comes our way before the event is over!
